RAIN HISTORY
our beginnings
Our humble beginnings date back to 1999, when we made soaps in a garage in Ladybrand, a small rural village on the border between the Free State and Lesotho. Today, Rain is a proudly South African international brand.

After establishing ourselves as a manufacturing wholesaler, we opened our first Rain branded store in 2005. The concept quickly took off, with more Rain stores opening across South Africa and around the world, including Ireland and New York. There are currently 30 Rain retail stores.
growth and sustainability
In keeping with family tradition and values, when Rain needed resources and expertise to grow beyond six stores, the Bosch family came on board as partners and investors, helping to expand the company's international profile. Today, Rain's new eco-factory with a reduced environmental impact is located on the Bosch family farm, Dal Rivier near Paarl in the Western Cape.

Hi, the cream is lovely, unfortunately I think I'm reacting to some of the ingredients in it, I have stopped using it for now but might try it again later, when my skin settles down, thank you
The rain Moroccan rose soap smells sooooo good and leaves my skin feeling soft. The bars are large so they last a while. I discovered these on a trip to South Africa and now I don’t want to use any other soap so I have to have them mailed to me in Switzerland, but they’re so worth it. All of their glycerin soaps are very nice but the Moroccan rose tops the list!
It's just a beautiful natural body lotion love the way it melts into skin and lovely scent too

I suffered from chronic dermatitis on my hands, to the point where the skin would form deep splits and even bleed sometimes. I tried every over the counter hand cream & many prescription creams without success, that was until I was gifted Rain Lemon & Verbena hand cream. I couldn't quite believe how quickly & effectively it calmed, softened & restored the skin on my hands to normal, I would actually say the result was miraculous. I'm over the moon & very relieved to have found this product!
